Why You Still Smell “Off” by Noon, Even Right After a Shower(It's Not Sweat. I Found Out What It Is.)
For two years, I smelled it on my coat collar. On my pillowcase too.
I showered every morning. By noon, it was back.
Here's what I finally learned.
1. After 45, your skin makes a new odor. Soap can't wash it off.
It's called nonenal. Your skin starts making it after 45.
It's oily, so it sticks to skin and clothes. Regular soap only washes off sweat.
So it's not you. It's not hygiene. It's chemistry.
2. This Japanese soap lifts it off. It doesn't cover it up.
SAWUMI is made with fermented persimmon, an old Japanese remedy.
It grabs the odor and rinses it away.
After two or three showers, the smell stopped coming back.
3. My husband noticed before I said a word
One evening he leaned in and asked what I was wearing.
Nothing special. “You smell like you again,” he said.
A week later, my sister asked what I'd changed.

4. One bar replaced $80 of products. Just make sure it's real.
No more deodorant, body spray or scented lotion. One bar does it all.
But be careful. Most “persimmon soaps” are just orange soap, without the real fermented fruit.
5. Right now, you get a second bar free
I paid full price for mine. Now it's buy one, get one free.
